To come to our workshop/showroom at Atelier des Mousselieres,
come to the heart of Provence, at the foot of the famous town
of Avignon, with its bridge and palace of the Popes. Come across
the Rhone river where you'll enter Languedoc-Roussillon and
you'll find the village of Les Angles where our workshop is
situated.
The earth turns an ochre color, the sun is hotter, the
lavender and cicadas will wake your senses. Atop the very first
rock outcrop you will see the old Provence village of Les Angles.
From there, the view extends to the Rhone river valley
and the vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone wines. Medieval Avignon
remains visible, and beyond, the Luberon, the Mont Ventoux,
and the Alpilles and Cevennes hills.
Here, 30 years ago, a talented ceramist set up his workshop
and created his first tiles from Provence. |
